I would bet a week’s pay Nancy Pelosi and her henchman have no idea what is in this monstrous, and disastrous piece of legislation. There is no surprise that this is Pelosi’s trojan health horse. The surprises don’t come immediately, they come over time, and will destroy the health care system in place and replace it with the Affordable Health Care for America Act.
If you look at the name of this bill “Affordable health care for America act,” every word is a lie. Affordable defined by the democrats is that all people without health care will be given “free” health care by the government. They are hoping you believe that government is going to wave a magic wand and everyone will have cheap affordable health care. Health Care under the control of the government will cease the way we know it and be divvy up as the government sees fit. Medicare delivery will be cut for senior citizens, and doctors will be paid less for service renedered, which means that health care as we know it, will suffer and so will senior citizens. America Act should be changed to Affordable Health Care for New America Act. It will be a new and changed America if both houses pass this pitiful piece of legislation.
Henry Waxman is saying today that there is no guarantee that the “abortion amendment,” will stay out of the bill. Remember when Democrats promised Bush #1 that if he would sign a new tax bill they would cut spending. Bush signed and the Democrats reneged on their promise to him and Bush went on to lose big to Bill Clinton. This is the same tactic they will use on the moderate Democrats who would not vote for this bill unless there was a guarantee that federal money would not be used for abortions. Sign it into law and there will be a sign hanging out in front of the White House “abortion on demand we gladly pay for the procedure and the irresponsibility of your decision.”
There is one guarantee about Democrats, they have no principles. They look at lying as just another tool in their belt when it comes to negotiating legislation with themselves and the Republicans. They will say and do anything to get what they want which includes throwing the taxpayers under the bus.
When this is said and done, Obama will have very few if any rounds of political ammunition left on his belt. He has called all his chits in to see this through. If it should fail, politicians like the governor of New York, David Patterson will go against Obama like he is now realizing that Obama, even now, is in political trouble and he has nothing to fear from his administration for not stepping down and letting a more formidable politician run in his place.
When the American people have deciphered this bill for what it is, they will stampede like horses in a lightning storm to an election poll to cast their vote for a glue factory for Pelosi’s trojan horse.
