How much does Obama have riding on these elections in Virginia, NY, and NJ? Will voters hand Obama a vision of the future in 2010 and 2012? The MSM is already deriding these elections before a vote has been cast. They know the score and they are spinning like tops on why the democrats will lose in the 3 big races. Before the end of the day you will hear cries of voter fraud and other illegalities that the right pulled on the left.
Keep in mind that the left has a disdain for free and fair elections. If their horse is getting beat or about to be beat they cry “foul.” They chalk it up to the ignorance of the voters why their candidate was beaten beyond recognition. There is no way it could be the policies that the liberal(s) ran on, or the visible support of Obama and his Chicago machine.
Creigh Deeds was written off weeks ago by the Obama administration. The administration’s reason is Creigh Deeds did not run the campaign that Obama felt would be a successful run. In reality, Obama cut his losses and ran away from Deeds for being a loser even before the first vote was cast fearing it could be a reflection on his shortening coat tails of influence. What will be interesting is the excuses the administration will have for the political beating that Corzine is going to take today at the hands of Chris Christie. The only way Corzine will win today is if Acorn is in charge of the polls. What will the administration say when a “real conservative” thrashes his man in NY-23. A real conservative who made the moderate Republican drop out due to no interest in her platform of liberal policies.
These elections should be a referendum to the Republican Party that if you stray from conservative policies and platform, you may very well go down in 2010 along with a host of other liberals.
I would wish our Republicans “good luck” but luck doesn’t have anything to do with politics.
