Barbara Mikulski (D-Md) says, ”It is morally wrong to vote against health care.” For a liberal like Mikulski to even use the words “morally wrong” in a sentence is laughable. Granted, she is not as radical as Boxer and Feinstein but only because her state would not allow it.
Let us look at what is morally right in the eyes of liberals today. Running massive deficits to the tune of $1.4 trillion dollars last year and a minimum $1.3 trillion this year and for the next 10 years there will be trillion dollar deficits so says Obama. The “cock-eyed liberal” idea that we can spend ourselves out of this recession is beyond any cognizant thought regarding morality.
The more fiat money we print to expand government’s reach and burden us with their lack of fiscal irresponsibility is beyond immoral. What is immoral is placing this insurmountable debt load on the backs of future generations to solve and payoff. That is morally unacceptable.
Don’t lecture the American public on what is right and wrong based on your skewed vies regarding decency and morality. Liberals choose to castigate and persecute those of faith or those whose political beliefs do not line up with theirs belief system when it comes their agenda. Liberals can never argue an issue on the merits because they know that the general public would vote them out of office due to incompetency.
This takes us back to the abortion debate that liberals choose to disregard the immorality of taking unborn life for convenience sake because the courts said so. The House passed the Hyde Amendment in response to Roe v Wade decision in 1976
Every year the liberals chip away and weaken the Hyde amendment. They have positioned Health Care bill to basically nullify this 33 year old law to appease the radical left and Planned Parenthood, which happens to be a contributor to the radical left members of Congress for pro abortion positions. Follow the money.
At the end of the day, liberals will always have the corner on situation ethics in this country when it comes to morality.
