We need to take our Country back from Career Politicians

by admin on December 7, 2009

Our country is in dismal shape.  Banks,  Auto,  financial sectors and unemployment, etc… We are hurting like never before.  Perplexing as it is, this is still a great country, with great resources and the most ingenious and hardest working people in the world.

We  invented the airplane, phone, the light, the automobile, nuclear bomb, radio, television,Nuclear energy, and so many other technologies.

We were the first to walk on the moon, and continued walking on the moon’s surface well into the 70′s.

We have saved countries from despotism.  We have freed countries from tyrannical rulers and not once have we taken 1 acre of land  from any country, other than to keep the peace with our armed presence.

We have never been imperialistic minded in our foreign endeavors to right a wrong.  We believe heart and soul, that liberty and freedom are what other countries should want for their populations if they are to grow and be prosperous.   There are still many countries that chain their citizens to the inside walls of their lands never to allow them the air of freedom or feel the warm breeze of liberty.

When a country seals their borders to the world, they are saying, “we have an indefensible form of government, We know if we put a gate in the wall our people will flee, and we can not allow our citizens to have that kind of choice.”

All that being said, our career politicians are taking us in a direction where all other countries have gone in regards to socialism.  We don’t need a cap and trade bill. We do not need the government’s national health care.  We do not need any more taxes hoisted upon the shoulders of any citizen, including the wealthy. Our country did not get where it is today by punishing those who use the the system that is provided to all of us, and then tax them unequally  for working hard and succeeding.

There are many politicians in this country who have been in either the House or the Senate, or both, for most of their professional life.

If  these individuals were in the public sector, and truly having to work at a job for a living, most would be fired within 6 months after employment. If they happened to own a business, and operate it the same way they run governmental affairs then they would be arrested and jailed for crimes and misdemeanors and cast into jail for several years.

It is absolutely imperative that we put the politicians back in their place.  They have taken our silence and apathy on issues in the past for granted and we have allowed it.  .  They have lived in Washington DC, believing that if they will throw some crumbs to their constituencies  then all things are good.

The truth is simple to understand.  Our politicians corporately have passed such inane laws and regulations. Many programs are without merit and tax the contributors heavily,  while rewarding those who choose to consume without giving back to society.

Congress can do nothing to swat a fly without committee and then proceed taking money from taxpayers to purchase the swatter and then over paying  for the swatter.

2010 and 2012 could very well bring greatest political reformation this country has every witnessed.  Wholesale change throughout a system, that has been corrupted and defaced without regard to future ramifiactions by the elected, is what is needed and expected from an electorate who has stated in protests all over this country “we have had enough!”

We need to take our country back from politicans who have taken liberty with their positions in government to feather their own future nests and wallow in the halls of power, all in the name of doing the business of the people.  It is imperative that we send these politicians back to where they came from and never again forget the damage that they corporately have done.

There is song “Empty Garden” by Elton John  dedicated to John Lennon’s death.  There is a lyric in the song that says    “It’s funny how one insect can damage so much grain,” reminds me of what congress (insect) has done to our country (grain). Let’s swat the flies out of Washington in ’10.
