I read with interest how many of our American royalty politicians went to Copenhagen for the warming summit, and the estimated cost to American taxpayers.
Our representatives will tell us that the trip was well worth the expense and the information and increased knowledge we now posses on the global warming phenomenon will benefit all taxpayers . What would we expect them to say when confronted about this ridiculous cost?
Kick 'em all Out!
I would rather them just say, “we went over the pond in military jets, chauffeured limousines, ate expensive caviar, stayed in luxurious accommodations with our spouses, enjoyed 5 course meals, drank the finest wines, and yucked it up with other foreign dignitaries on your dime. “ I can live with that answer because I know that is the truth.

In no way am I inferring that all of these trips are no more than glorified vacation travel, but what is important to realize is congressional members are not letting up in their world travels.
If you happen to look at different members on Legistorm’s website and some of the trips these lawmakers take, Barney Frank’s travels has him attending every gay and lesbian organization that asks him to speak at on taxpayer money. He regularly travels to LA to be on the Bill Mahre Show, which happens to be the most atheistic, vile and pernicious talk show in America today. I am sure Barney feels right at home on this show.
Some of the perks and privileges listed here go beyond the imagination of normal thinking, hard working, taxpaying Americans.
Congressional privileges have always been a subject of contention with the American taxpayers. The belief that those receiving the privileges, happen to be the very ones who write the laws, and enact those privileges, could be seen as improper, and viewed as there being a sense of impropriety and the appearance of wrongdoing.
There will be a take down like never before in 2010. It will be nice to see these politicians riding in coach, paying for their own meals, and forking out money to pay for a vacation or parking ticket.
