Jim Clyburn says we need a bigger Shovel to handle this manure he calls investment

Jim Clyburn saying that we need to spend our way out of this recession, reminds me of an old joke ( I know you have heard it a million times) about 2 brothers from Richmond and their water truck idea.

These two brothers, Leo and Cletus from Richmond, Virginia  heard there was a severe water shortage in Washington DC, so one of them came up with the idea of buying a water tanker and filling it with water and trucking it up to Washington and selling it for a profit.

The next day they spent $10,000 dollars filling up their water truck. They went up to Washington and sold every drop in 15 minutes.  They were so excited, they had finally found a sure way of making some easy money.

On the way back home, Leo sat counting the money and he came up with exactly $10,000.  He looked at Cletus and said “we bought $10,000 dollars  worth of water and sold it for $10,000, and the best I can figure is we didn’t make any money at all.”

Cletus looked at Leo and said, “I know what the problem is.”

Leo said,”what?”

Cletus said “hell, we need a bigger truck.”

Leo looked at him and said, “You are so smart Cletus.”

Jim Clyburn reminds me of Cletus.  “Hell, we need to invest in a  bigger shovel to dig our way out of this deep hole.”

Take a look at this video and tell me if Jim Boy doesn’t make your head want to explode. I wanted to crawl into a dark closet and curl up in the fetal position and wait for the oxygen in my brain to be converted to carbon dioxide.

I hear ya, but I don’t believe my ears.

Clyburn’s talking points have been sabotaged by some one playing a prank on him. Someone definitely punked Mr. Clyburn.

Maybe Joe Wilson jumbled his cards  around just to embarrass Mr. Clyburn. The way Clyburn sounded, I thought his cards were upside down

There is no way that a person can sound as dumb and remarks be as unintelligible as the words that came out of this man’s  mouth today

“This is not the time to save, we need to grow this economy by spending ourselvs into deeper debt.” I don’t know what Clyburn’s idea of an investment is?  I do know that we have 13 Trillion dollars and counting of “so called investments” that happens to be making China and Japan a nice piece of change every month.

If debt is an investment then where is the sacrifice.  A real investment is a real sacrifice for the present, expecting a return on investment in the future.

As Obama likes to say, “let me be clear.”  I’ve seen investments Mr.Clyburn, the deficits you are running up on this country is no investment.

Count me out of this Ponzi Investment
