Liberals are feeling vulnerable and fearful as they have removed themselves from the ever present TV cameras. Time spent on Sunday morning shows in Washington gloating about the mandate and change and hope that the Democrats were going to bring to the nation.
Sounds like an echo chamber now! Hello!!
It seemed like just yesterday they were standing in town hall meetings, in front of live cameras, ridiculing some of their constituency for being so plain stupid and “crazy like” for not endorsing the President’s health care plan and the excuse of out of control binge spending in order to save the country.
Lawmakers would then go back to Washington and compare “crazy voter”stories with other lawmakers about how wacked out some of their voters in their district had become.
They finally fear now what they have seen first hand. The writing on the wall. The reality and power of the scorned. The final page being written of their political careers. The death knell of liberalism.
The American taxpayers, in the splendor of the constitutional freedom of the right to vote, carried a ground swell of discontent into New Jersey, Virginia and most of all, Massachusetts and replaced one party for another. The voters, the grim reapers of political death, went to the polls to remove the dead wood and replace them with those who promise to listen, amplify the truth, and disregard the rhetoric of poorly thought out political resolutions like what we have experience for the past 13 months.
Obama still claims his agenda is the right course for this country to take and he will travel the country and do a better job communicating and explaining his health bill to the voters. The truth is, the taxpayers are communicating to Obama that they don’t want any more of his agenda or explanations. They proved it in the states mentioned above.
Voters understand completely what Obama is trying to accomplish and will respond appropriately for not listening come November.
There is a real possibility that the Democrats could lose the House and will lose multiple seats in the Senate in November
How is that for listening Mr President?
