Does President Obama have OCD? “Obama can do”

Obama and his Obsessive Compulsive disorder Health Care Reform

OCD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Does our President suffer from this malady?  His focus and desire for  health care reform is taking on a look of  political and mental unhealthiness.  He says, “let’s pass something and we will work the details out later.”  What does that mean?

We saw  Bush in his last 4 months in office when Congress was shouting “we need to pass TARP before this financial  crisis envelopes the nation and drives us into a depression and maybe even bankruptcy.” Of course Bush agreed, and then weeks, then months went by before this bill was ever passed. This congressional knee jerk reaction was averted and the TARP bill was somewhat cleaned up and cooler heads prevailed.

Today we are seeing the President so focused on Health Care Reform that up until now, he has only paid lip service to the ginormous recession that has blanketed the land and smothered out commerce and jobs.  His attention is not to the details of health care as much as it is geared toward “let’s pass something, anything, pass the offering plate, pass the ball, pass the buck,  but lets gets something passed!”

Is Barack Obama so obsessed with health care or is he obsessed with the idea of passing something that the Clinton’s were laughed off the national stage  so much so that the Democrats  lost their majorities in 1994 because of the extreme hard left position the Democrats took in 1992-1994.  Clinton wised up and went back to the middle where the water was warm and waist deep.  Served out the rest of his term and won a second.

As it stands right now, Obama might not finish his 1st term due to the possibility he will go “mad” with this obsessive compulsive desire to pass a program that 60%-75% of Americans don’t want.  I don’t know how hard OCD is to diagnose but I will say that if an individual is so blind and deaf to the voters calling for a stop to this outrageous  spending nonsense, and he ignores it, something is terribly wrong in Washingtown with our President.

Barack Obama may believe that OCD stands for Obama can Do. I believe it could stand for Obama could disintegrate, or Obama could be delusional.
