Obama is pushing Democrats hard for reconciliation with his health care reform fiasco. Obama is imploring the Democrats to fall on their sword over health care using reconciliation. This is what a narcissist like Obama does when his only desire is to see himself succeed.
Obama and the "paid" staff
Obama does not have any real friends, that I am sure. What he has is real tools. Each tool in his belt performs for him in a particular way. When he feels he will not need the tool, or the tool fails him, he casts it off like a broken screwdriver. Obama is willing to cast his whole tool belt away for reconciliation. He is asking the Demotools to finish the job even at the expense of losing their politcal careers.
Aparently Obama has talked enough fools Democrats into falling on their sword for the greater good. I said apparently, but in no way am I sold on the illusion that these Democrats can be so politically stupid that they would throw their careers away on a bill that 75%+ of the American electorate has expressed in no uncertain terms that they do not want health care in any shape, form, or manner.
Obama has proven beyond any doubt with this quote today at his announcement for a up or down vote on health care reform..
“The American people want to know if it’s still possible for Washington to look out for their interests and their future,” Mr. Obama said. “They are waiting for us to act. They are waiting for us to lead. And as long as I hold this office, I intend to provide that leadership. I don’t know how this plays politically, but I know it’s right. And so I ask Congress to finish its work, and I look forward to signing this reform into law.”
I have to give it to Obama for chutzpah, “the American people want us to act,” or “the American people want us to look out after their interest,” borders on insanity if not looniness as the American people are shouting him down in every corner of this country to stop the madness and the spending and the irresponsible leadership he has shown in the past 14 months.
Democrats will be publishing a new book named The Chutzpah Audacity of Reconciliation as soon as some of these out of work congressman in November get around to writing it.
