Obama snubs Netanyahu in only the way Obama can

by admin on March 26, 2010

Israel’s Prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu was snubbed by Obama during his visit to the White House this week. Information about what happened has trickled out very slowly.

Upon coming together in the oval office, the air was wrought with displeasure, and concern which was displayed by Obama.

This excerpt below is from the Telegraph.co.uk posted by Adrian Blomfield in Jerusalem

Over the previous two days, he (Netanyahu) had been feted by senior Republicans and greeted warmly by members of Congress. He had also received a standing ovation from the American Israel Public Affairs Affairs Committee, one of the most influential lobby groups in the United States.

But Mr Obama was less inclined to be so conciliatory. He immediately presented Mr Netanyahu with a list of 13 demands designed both to  end the feud with his administration and to build Palestinian confidence ahead of the resumption of peace talks. Key among those demands was a previously-made call to halt all new settlement construction in east Jerusalem.

When the Israeli prime minister stalled, Mr Obama rose from his seat declaring: “I’m going to the residential wing to have dinner with Michelle and the girls.”

As he left, Mr Netanyahu was told to consider the error of his ways. “I’m still around,” Mr Obama is quoted by Israel’s Yediot Ahronot newspaper as having said. “Let me know if there is anything new.”

With  every passing day our President becomes a little more cocksure of himself and his position at the world table.  What he is apparently blind to is that “the position” has changed quite a bit over the last 15 months.  He is not communicating to the world through a position of strength and power, rather he is coming across as a compromising,  subservient fool toward our  enemies. Nothing will be gained long term from insulting the Israeli Prime Minister.

The post continues…

Mr Obama then suggested that Mr Netanyahu and his staff stay at the White House to consider his proposals so that if he changed his mind he could inform the President right away. “I’m still around,” the daily newspaper Yediot Aharonot quoted Mr Obama as saying. “Let me know if there is anything new.”

The Prime Minister leaves America disgraced, isolated and altogether weaker than when he came,” the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz said.

“I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you”. This is a promise God made to the Israelites. If Obama thinks he can fight against God he’s in for one heck of a big shock. What an idiot!

Israel should get a apology from Obama for treating them like crap. Obama is a dumbass!! We need Israel and they need us. Obama is a Socialist Progressive and I can’t wait until he’s out of office. He offends our friends around the world and apears to want to sleep with our enemies. I think Obama believes he’s the king of the world. Isreal, I will appologise for Obama. He’s is a idiot. A majority of Americans stand with Isreal.

Obama is the biggest mistake to ever have sat in the oval office. Nothing to do with race but everything to do with ideology

left always plays the race card…if it werent for the white vote Obama would not have been elected. There is a real need in this country to see the man for what he is, and the agenda that he represents. he is muslim, he caters to the muslims ! example: in the recent debacle of a health bill there is a provision for 20.3 million U.S. taxpayers money to pay for the migration of Hamas Refugees, and to house , feed and provide medical for them…not to mentioni make them eligible for all of the other perks as a citizen of this country… Obama, sorry your a One and Done President. You will see alot of your left wingers get voted out next election. Reid and Pelosi, both of you are on your last political leg. The Voters have had enough
