Former ACORN head Bertha Lewis calls Tea Parties “Bowel Movement”

by admin on April 22, 2010

Bertha Lewis, former CEO of Acorn calls the Tea Parties “bowel movement.”  Apparently Ms. Bertha hasn’t walked by a mirror lately or examined her own group Acorn.

Are these  the type of leaders that blacks want to  surround themselves with? There are so many inspirational  lives of great black people who have succeeded on their own to accomplish great things.

Is it any wonder why blacks are so miserably behind all the other minorities in this country when you have creepy people like this leading organizations that are funded by the government.

I wonder if it has ever occurred to the “poor” blacks in this country that what they have been doing for the last 45 years is not working.  In other words the government is not the answer and it will never be the answer. The pittance you receive from the government hasn’t changed your life, nor will it change your life.  It will only perpetuate your condition until you are ready to change the rules and stick up for yourself..  Sucking at the same tired shriveled up government teat from cradle to grave is not a recipe for success. It has zero nutritional value for those who want to grow and succeed.

Education, personal accountability, motivation, inspiration, finding mentors in and out of your own community that will guide you through the early stages of life. Every successful person will tell you that it took years and years of hard work and determination to see experience success and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Luke 3:9 “Indeed the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; so every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

If you are willing to be led by people like Bertha Lewis, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton et al, that is your business but you have not succeeded in changing one thing about your life.  Leaders, like those above, perpetuate the cycle of poverty without any solutions that you can use in your life.

The government will never be the solution.

After 45 years of “fighting” poverty you would think that war would have been won by now. If it is ever won  then people like Bertha and Al and Jesse are out of work.

Take a look around and ask yourself a couple of questions, “What am I doing to better myself?” “Why do I need these types of people around me doing my bidding for me?”
