Chinese officials are guarded about information coming out of China regarding a spate of knife attacks on school children while at school. In the latest attack a 48 year old man wielding a meat cleaver killed 7 children 6 years or younger and 2 adult females before fleeing the scene and committing suicide at home.
Chinese officials have beefed up security at schools by providing pepper spray and a metal device that would help pin an attacker against a wall.
There was another attack a couple of months ago when a doctor from a local clinic took a knife and killed 8 children at another school. The doctor was described as having mental health problems.
Some experts in China believe that the way to strike back at the government is to attack the most precious gift chinese couples have and that is their “one” child. China has a one child per family policy that causes the brutality of these crimes to be magnified many times over.
The way things are going lately I believe the liberals in the US Congress will step in and try to persuade the Chinese to outlaw knives and any other sharp objects due to the number of attacks and the brutality involved.
How can you deny liberals their reasoning concerning this serious matter when they say,” people don’t kill people, cutlery kills.
